Post subject:  where can I get a new headliner ???
for my 02?? I just picked up a set of freedom edition seats on Ebay for 165.00 front and rear! in really good shape... and I also got a new carpet.... Now I notice my headliner has taken a beating and is no longer "cream" colored.... its disgusting... should i go to a junkyard and try to find a truck to pull it out of? or does anyone know a place to get a new one besides the dealer??

I know there are a couple of shops localaly that will replace headliners for about 100-150. You can also repalce it yourself. Check out this thread http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=27877&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=suede&start=0 for ideas.

I found a guy in the yellow pages who put one in my old chevy truck. I paid 120 for the headliner and recovering the sun visors. Worth every penny. Check the yellow pages or some of the bigger used car lots. They use the same guys.

Here is a link to a dealership out west that has great prices on new stuff. Still VERY expensive.

The liner material is easy to find and not too expensive. just check local sewing and fabric shops. get on 3m's website and find the links on how to remove the old materila and use their adheasive to replace with new material.
