Post subject:  Blown Front Struts

So I have a '05 CRD with 55k on it now with a Rustys steel spacer in the front and full coils in the rear. The Jeep is driving like a boat lately with the front constantly bottoming out and bobbing up and down. I just replaced the upper control arms since the ball joints were worn and the wheels felt they would fall off at any moment. I tow my Auto X Focus with it often during the summer and am sure the rears are almost gone too. I stopped taking her off road early last summer since I should finish my wrangler build instead of killing a newer jeep.

I would like to purchase a full coil for the front and an extended front strut but am having a hard time finding one for the CRD. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

I have seen the ones for the gasoline model but are either specific to the Diesel? I did notice last night through some searching on this forum that the OME coils were the way to go.

All J Products @ www.boulderbars.com can hook you up with all you need to fix that bobbing and weaving CRD. They are a major sponsor of this forum, LOST JEEP SAFARI amongst other events, and great Jeep people that know the KJ better than anyone. Their office is in a bit of a bind missing some key people right now but give them a chance to help you out.

They are! They will only improve your CRD in every way of driving.
