Check your engine oil level ASAP! You can do that? If not ask a neighbour or friend. If level is OK take it to a garage, could be oil-pressure sensor.

1) check the oil level
2) then look at the sensor KJ04 pointed out

3) Per Federal law - changes only void the part of the warranty that are affected by the change - i.e. if you put on an aftermarket intake and it doesn't filter as well and wears out the rings in 10k miles - that's your fault - however if you change the intake and the oil pump stops working, or the transmission dies - that's not your fault - the intake doesn't impact that.

That said - some dealers will argue about it - some won't - so understanding your dealership is important.
if your oil level is good and the warning lights going on - have someone check it - dealer or independent mechanic.
(standard warranty is 36,000 miles)

Haha, an intake wont void anything.

Seems like the sensor goes bad alot. Its above the oil filter.

If the oil pressure really was low it would start to knock fairly fast. :?

This happened to me a few weeks ago. If your oil level is fine, check the oil pressure sensor. It most likely went bad.

You know how to check and add oil right?

[if your engine oil is full - that sensor is the culprit]
