I am looking to remove the restrictive catalytic converter and replace the muffler with a Magnaflow 12226 muffler. I have not been able to find a by-pass pipe? Can anyone help??? ( for off road application only of course)

um....there is no cat on an 05 crd. there is a resonator...look in it its hollow. just buy the mag. "cat back" bolt up and be done. my wife is happy with hers |

to the best of my knowledge, diesels in general do not have catalytic converters. |

thats correct no cat in an 05 crd....not until o8 were they required. |

There is a CAT on both years of the CRD model. Might not be necessary for the diesel, but it is on there thanks to the EPA. |
