My step brother has this YJ that my mom and stepfather bought for him...

My step father is about halfway done converting the engine over to fuel injection, so it's not going anywhere for another month or so...

And it's sitting on 33x13.5" super swampers :(

What kind of damage do I risk putting them on my KJ and driving it around the block?

None. You won't get them on.

I'd say there is more danger to the tires than the jeep.

You winding up leaving them on there and having it look like SWMPTHNG's KJ

I am pretty sure the bolt pattern won't work, but I can't blame you for wanting to do it.

BP's are the same at 4.5. You have to go back to the CJ to get a 5.5.

If you can get them on, the front tires will rub everywhere. And your turning radius will be about half a mile. But by all means try it and post a couple pics of it.

Take the front fender flares off and I think it should fit.

If the rims are 15" they will probably not clear the brake calipers.

hahaha.. i cant believe this post is up here!.. i was just talking to my dad about trying to put his 35's off his rubicon on my KJ.. and i wondered if they would even fit in the wheel wells... i know i wouldnt be able to go anywhere but it would look AWESOME sitting in place :)... go ahead and try it.. what do you have to lose besides 15 mins of your time :).. make sure to take pictures too!

I can fit my YJ's 15" rims on my Liberty Sport and they seem to clear the disc brakes but drum brakes may be a different story. Here's a pic of my Libby with the YJ's 33" 12.50 Procomp tires but I never tried driving with them. I'd likely not be able to turn the steering wheel.

As far as I know the biggest tires you can run on Libby with a 2.5" lift are 31".
