So since the warranty is up soon, I rolled around under the pig today on my creeper and checked everything real well. No leaks and everything looks ok. It is running good. Then I checked all the power accessories inside and they are all working. Still got the 7/70 drivetrain warranty.

So far the lower ball joints were replaced (like everyone elce ) and a leaking pinion seal. That's it. So I will be on my own pretty soon. (fingers crossed)

Anyone have any ideas on anything elce I should check or do before the 3/36 BtoB runs out??

You might check the A/C and the radiator since some have had problems with the plastic radiator. Also all the power windows since they have been problematic.

Don't the radiators go south after a couple years or around 100K miles? I wouldn't worry about the no-warranty phase too much. The KJ shouldn't ever leave you stranded and most of the time gives you plenty of warning when something needs attention.

Thanks Rush. I forgot to run the a/c and check the radiator. Shouldn't be a problem but I will check it anyway. I did check all the power windows. My back ones don't get used a lot but they all seem to be working fine.

Sleeve, yea, I just wanted to check everything over good and was looking for things I might have missed.

You could not be more correct about this. I know from experience that the KJ will limp you home with plenty of time to repair.
