so i had my rear ds fixed all with new parts (u-joint, yoke, bolts, etc.). from when i used front wheel drive to get me back to the house, the front one blew also. now im in 2wd only, for the mean time, and wanted to know about any aftermarket front ds's if any. but i guess if there isnt, then having a new one doesnt hurt.

I am not sure what the out put shaft on the T-case looks like as well as the Yoke on the front diff
I am willing to bet that you could get the yokes from an XJ as well as the DS and install them on your KJ if you have a 242
if you have a 231 then the yoke from any 231 should work this would eliminate the CV joint and get you a DS with 3 U-joints again I am not sure but I know that I had a front DS from an XJ cut to be used on the rear of my TJ
any drive shaft with the right U-joints to work with the yokes you get should be fine as long as it has a slip joint
and thinking about it in the IFS of the KJ you could probably get away with a slip joint and 2 U-joints

send me your email address and I'll send you a pdf file with information about the parts needed to get setup with a front driveshaft from Tom Woods. I have had one on for about six months and it is great. My e-mail is wasatch@utahbroadband.com
