Hey there, the other day I was checking out my wifes tires and she needs one new one. Well, long story short, I took off my spare so she could see what it would look like with a real tire on it, she has a 2003 Rav4 (just slightly bigger than a gokart, lol) and noticed that my rear door is starting to sag just a bit. I use it a LOT and was curious if anyone has any rigs with the tire carrier attached to the bumper. Besides the one on Rock Liz :) If so, please post a pic.

Thanks.
Mark

can you post a picture of the door sagging? Do you have a much bigger tire on the spare?

Rock lizard is the only one that I know of, I dont know if trailready does I think they do but I cant remember here is a pic of trailready Im sure they would have a model that has a tire carrier

and there is also this one I founda while back but it weighs 120# for it to be in all 3/16" if you go 1/4" they said it weights around 150# it starts out at $615 for the bumper and tire carrier but Id rather have RL's

The last bumper in the pics looks nice
I also like the sliders the way they stick out good and long

We have an issue with trees and doors when we go wheelin so these would be nice
this may be the rear bumper I go with ,will need to go with OME HD springs but why not?

those rails look like they really cut into clearance, too.

Hard to say, really. Might just be that they're on an 02-04 but they look about 1/2" to 1" lower than mine.

I will take some picts tomorrow. I will also take one of a co-workers Wrangler with the thermometer tire cover, lol. Yes, he is special...in more ways than one, lol.

I love that trailready one. I wish they would make something for the 05 and up kjs, last i checked it was all for the older body style front end kjs. The second bumper is just too big for my tastes. It is a behemoth!
