The engine is losing power momentarily when accelerating through the power band. The best way I can describe: it’s like a chugging sensation, :? very noticeable 35-50mph while entering onto hyw. also during normal driving with a steady throttle. Recently installed lift two weeks ago. Have you experienced this problem, know what may be causing it or how to fix?

could be as simple as a plugged fuel filter

Would the engine throw a code to show this?

Not a fuel filter problem, fuel filter problems is felt across the whole rpm band and is mostly a gradual effect(gets worse as time goes on) and being you have a '07 it's kinda unlikely you have a fuel filter problem, could happen but unlikely.

You also have that "throttle by wire" system so that would be the first thing I would check into, may have something wrong with that system.

I only mentioned fuel filter because I had the one in my '02 F250 get plugged with only 8K on it
and it did just what he described
now with all the "first generation" electronics he could have some other issues
I also had "first gen." issues with one of my past 4X4's back in '98 when ford did the first fully IFS Ranger 4X4's
P.O.S. lost more hubs and bushings in 40K miles and 5 years then I care to think about

Agree'd

When its chugging spanky, give it some gas so that it kicks down and see if it still down it. The 42rle is programmed to get into the highest gear it can as fast as it can(prolly to save gas). Right around 40mph is where the torque locks so you will see it most at that speed.
