Post subject:  OME lift installation instructions?

so I'm getting my OME MD lift installed tomorrow(tues) :D by the best in town (folks travel quite a distance just to get their suspensions installed & worked on by this place and anyway i dont have the room or tools or manpower to do it here myself) and so when i went to visit them, all was good after going over my hardware with one of the techs except he asked if it came with instructions. (what!..yeah i know, i know, it sounds like wow..they shouldn't have to ask for instructions,ha..hah) so i told him no, instructions were not provided, and then they agreed that they dont need them they just thought they'd ask since they usually deal with rough country and skyjacker. but THEN i got to thinking.....maybe there might be a certain sequence or specifics(such as washer placement, etc) for installing this particular lift kit on a KJ which wouldn't necessarily be the case for any other vehicle  Anyone have access to the "official" instructions for this lift kit if there are in fact any 'actual instructions?' If not, is there anything that I should point out to them regarding install that they might miss? - thanks!

p.s. cant wait for this lift..its been a long time coming!

No real instructions, pretty self explanitory.Just make sure the top strut plate washer and nut get back in the correct order(strut plate, then washer, then nut) and make sure the nut get torqued properly.Torque the sway bar end link bolts and remove rear sway bar for easier rear coil install. That's about it.Oh and a ratchet strap really helps align the lower clevis to the LCA to get that lower bolt in.

like tjkj said if they watch how they take each one apart and put them back the same way, they should not have a problem at all

Good Luck !

Just tell them to change the springs and shocks. If they need directions for that, take it somewhere else!
Tom's garage is always open and he will work for food.
