Anyone ever get a rhino liner for there undercoating? I would think it would be the best for rust proofing, and overall safety?

i'll get you a pick but go to advance autoparts and get the dupli-color paintale bed under coating...it looks great...works well as a protective layer over your bodie and is marked well in price...it is a spray or roll on...get the spray..

I used the duplicoat on the pinch weld. It does not stay put. At least it is cheap and the can will last for several applications. If you want to go cheap I would just use rustoleum and touch up as needed. Otherwise, line-x.

If you want a spray on bedliner applied to the undercarriage such as Line-X or Rhino Lining, you will need to remove the entire drivetrain and suspension and then take it to a shop that sprays the stuff and they will spray it and then you get to re-install everything.Rhino Lining and Line-X requires special equipment to spray and you'd have to buy a franchise to get the stuff to spray yourself.

You can take it to a dealership and have them spray on actual undercoating, the dealer I worked for charged $120 to undercoat a vehicle but in SD all new vehicles must be undercoated before being sold anyway.

tjkj2002 What do you have on there now? It looks pretty good. How hard was it to spray? How's it holding up?

As far as undercoating? I have Quaker State undercoating sprayed under my KJ,did it at the dealership that I worked on since I preped my KJ before I bought it.

The lower 1/3 and my roof is sprayed with Mortan's spray-on bedliner,I sprayed it myself, not hard just a little messy.

Dealer undercoating is my option I guess. All this hands on stuff is going to make my head explode!
