we sold our car and shes keeping the KJ, that of course means money in the bank for a project XJ in the near future! haha!. I was thinking about a wrangler but I'll be carting my son around and I don't feel safe in them. - Of course the wife does want the KJ lifted and on at least 31" tires, caught her the other day looking at KJ's with frankenlifts!! pretty sure with a litte negotiating I'll have 2 offroad rigs, score! |

Gotta love Jeeps, that is all I can really say. My wife loves mine even more now that it is lifted. She even helped today with a few things that needed some attention. |

What would be wrong with riding your son in a Wrangler? I do it with my daughter and she is not even 1 yet we do not bring her on trail rides but as soon as she makes 2 look out when we put her in the seat she is belted in better than me and my wife and protected better because the seat is taller than her and they are both confined with in the roll bar I will be adding some bars that go left to right on to the OE bar when we bring her out on the trails just in case and maybe some angle bars on the sides to protect her in the worse case roll I can tell you this I have seen some really bad rolls and have seen people walk away from them in wranglers I have only seen 1 roll in a rig with no cage ,ZJ Grand I think, and the entire top was crushed and it did not look that bad compared to what I have seen wranglers drive away from on the street I like the KJ but off roading like we do I think the TJ is safer ,after I add a little beef to the cage |

I love a Jeep family. I got my 02 kj about a month ago, and since then I have made the wife fall in love with jeep, and she is considering a tj next year, also her parents, and one of her brothers love it. I might have created a big Jeep family |

Everytime you call a Jeep a car, you kill a cat. |

You can, but since the stupid front seats don't tumble forward, you can't reach them. THAT feature gets the most annoying design choice award EVER. (Well, no, torx bolts everywhere cept on top of the bell housing, then E bolts gets that ever award) If you have 2 kids, get the unlimited. |

I have to agree I know 2 couples that have 2 door JK's both with older kids 4-10 year range and that seems to be ok because they can get them selves in and out of the seat but if the seat in the TJ was not fold and tumble I would have sold it and bought a 4 door JK Now I would have had to put 4" of lift and 37's to be happy compared to my TJ ,break over angle thing |

Both were forward-facing though. |

I don't know what it is about the wrangler, a few of my buddies had them in high school and they would roll all the darn time. Of course we'd just flip it, break out the cutters and welders and some krylon and it would be road worth again in about an hour! I'll just feel safer in a XJ, my little guy is hella mischievious and I don't want him unbuckling his seat when I'm driving down the road in a wrangler with the top & doors off. |

one thing true is you can fit alot of stuff in a cherokee vrs. a wrangler...if i didn't have the liberty, i would of bought a cherokee...a couple reasons why, i wanted a good off road proformer, needed space and a engine to rely on, couldn't afford a third CAR(oops killed a cat) on the insurence thanks to the wifes perfect driving record...lol |

Trust if we didn't just spend mad cash moving here I would already have one. I should be getting a darn decent raise in a few weeks so we'll see how it goes down. |
