So i've seen this system at the local stores, and actually know a few people with them. I guess it mounts under the vehicle and runs a small enough current to detour any rust. Considering this system costs about $300-$400 for a SUV size, and it costs under $100 for a cheap undercoating, it will take a long time for it to pay for itself. Do you guys ever use these (on your jeep, or anything else)? Any opinions?

Sounds like snake oil to me. Without knowing any details, I would be highly skeptical. Consider that your entire vehicle always has current running through it. You chassis is the ground return to the battery. It's low voltage, high current.
