does anyone else that has or had the RUSTY'S coil lift or spacer lift, and an '02 KJ, sit a lil higher then other years? on the front, i am sitting right around 37" to the bottom of the front flare dead center with the hub. and 38" on the back. and that with my TOYO'S on that are 245-70-16, its even higher with the TSL's on. anyone else experience this. like i said beofre, i will have pics up later, i dont have time right now to load them and then host them and then post them on here so i will do that when i get home. by for now |

Am I reading this wrong? Do you mean 27 and 28 and not 37 and 38? That would give you over 10" from my Frankenlift instead of around 4. Are you measuring starting from the ground or in the dead center of the hub? Measure from the hub center to the bottom of the fenders and see what it is. |

2002 and very early 2003 KJ's sat about 3/4" higher till Chrysler lowered them to where they sit in later '03 and up due to roll-over concerns with a certain car review mishap. Thats why they refer to them as "pre-lowered". So yes, your does sit a little higher Another question...where do you keep the spare?? |

Mine is right at 21" (measured from the hub) with an ARB bumper with winch and very heavy diesel engine pressing down on my FLII 2.5" lift. Maybe something is horribly wrong.....how are your CV angles? That would be a good pic to see |

I have 21 ΒΌ" c/l hub to bottom of flare on front and 20" on the rear with my daystar. Wish I would have known how to measure right before I put the lift on. |

If you're using a coil lift your year no longer affects lift height, spacers do however. |

I think you either need to remeasure or really look to make sure you have it put together correctly. I mean Troy is at 37 5/8 with 265-75s and everything he has done! Pictures of the CVs at that heighth! |

Well I'm sitting at about 39" in the front right now but I'm kinda missing the front diff and CV's(along with all my skids) so about 350lbs or so of lost weight.

newer and older style kj's have different fender flares (or is it just the turn signal placement)....not sure if that will make a difference in measurements.....so just keep that in mind with all the replys |

Same as you on the hub to flare, I just don't have those TALL tires mines the same front and rear though, have to get those 4.10s in before I get taller though! |

(nothing like peer pressure) I put the OME Heavy Dutys and the ARB on over 70,000 miles ago , did them with in 10 days of one another so didn't/haven't changed from then. As far as going to 265s not until the 4.10s, I tow a trailer way to much to be dogged down when I am in the hills of Southeastern Ohio Tom |

10-4 on that Tom. I still had stock gears (and 32" tires) back in February when I was towing all my stuff from UT to FL (about 6K pounds). When I was crossing the UT/WY border on I 80 throught the Uinta Mntns, there were gusting head winds and it was all I could do to maintain 30 mph (pedal floored). As snow started falling and visibility dropped, it was a very hazardous condition. Especially when you consider the peeps from WY drive along I80 like God is their co-pilot! |
