I highly do not recommend this but great for a trail spare,it is cheap though.

They will work on a trail rig, not sure about on the street  Friend of mine made one several years ago and last time I was at his shop it was still on the Heep of his.

While I'm a fan of square tubing, this one is a little critical to trust the various failure modes would not occur ...

Might be nice to have on the trail as a back up and then replace with a good one once you are back home and can get one.

A little sketchy, but it is only the front shaft so it doesn't really affect highway travel. It would shake like hell on the highway if it was on the rear though.

They made square driveshafts for one of the project buggies on Extreme 4X4 once. They also cautioned that it was only safe for a trail only rig, not on a daily driver.

The KJ front drive shaft is always turning so don't think i'd want to run it up there. On a trail truck, I'd run em for rock crawling. Not so much for mudding.
