I'm hoping to get one of those roof baskets and want to put some lights on it. The rack is easy enough, it just attaches to the cross bars. But the lights? I would need those to be installed, so how hard would that be. I'm not comfortable with that kind of work, so I would need a shop, so how many hours would that be? Any suggestions on lights?

do they just bolt onto the rack? I might be able to do that with some help. Keep in mind, I never even changed a air filter :) So electronic work on my vehicle is a bit big. Then again, I do know my way around electronics, so with a bit of a guide on where to wire it in, I might be ok.

it depends on the type of rack you get whether or not they come with light tabs. If it doesn't, you'll need some of these http://www.trailrashdesigns.com
