How many miles and life is everyone getting out of the stock F and R brakes ?

I am just starting to get some minor squeek @ 38 K. I need to pull them apart this week to check out the pad life.

Does the 04 have drum rears? Or disc?

I just swapped out my rears (rotors and pads). They started making noise around 38k and were completely ruined by 40k. Well, technically only the driver's side rear was ruined. But, when I say "ruined," I mean, really, almost nothing left. Pathetic. Passenger-side rear was okay, but replaced anyway.

Bought new fronts too, but didn't put them on. The rears are easier to put on. Ran out of time for the fronts...especially when we realized you have to take off a whole 'nother part.

Your going to get widly varied answers since how you drive(and brake) really determines brake life.I've seen a set of OEM pads gone after 10,000miles and there are some that get over 100,000miles from there OEM pads.
