| Post subject: | skid row + mopar? |
this is probably answered somewhere and i'm sorry if its a repeat, but i cant find the answer in our awesome search... i have a mopar front skid and a mopar transmission skid. well, the transmission one has taken all the abuse a mopar transmission skid can take, so i want to replace it. can i use the skid row transmission skid with the mopar front skid? i'm not totally sure where the skid row one mounts or what it covers, or if it pretty much covers the same area as the mopar one, but is just way better. if anyone has other suggestions for a transmission skid plate, please speak up! thanks in advance. |

I know for a fact that it will work. I have the skid row engine/tranny skid and the mopar front skid on mine as we speak. Rescu2000 |

Have the Mopar Engine / Skid Row Belly skid combo and they work fine together Here's a couple of pics (unlike the pic - the Skid Row comes flat. It takes 6 years of abuse to get them curved!)

I've got the Skid Row Front and Engine/Transmission Skids which I have overlapping the Mopar Transfer Case Skid. Should have seen the looks on the techs faces at the dealership when they saw all the 3.5" x 3/8" carriage bolts holding them on!!! |

Off the top of my head, I don't remember but I 'think' they are available in both. |
