It started off pretty well, the trail was dry and we were just doin a little offroading. Then we came to a trail that lead off the main path and decided to follow it. We came to what i would eventually be stuck in. I tried to measure it out with a limb and decided it would make it. I was wrong. It took about 15 minutes before the water started coming in through the door seal. And 3 hrs to get me out since I really didn't have any solid tow points. Lesson learned! Tow hitch will be on in a few weeks. All in all it was still a good time. |

HAHA I did not notice the photo shop t-shirt Man, If I were you, I would be checking all my CV's and U-joints. I am sure by sitting in water that deep for 3 hours, I bet water got into your cv boots. if that is the case, you should take the boots off and inspect or you will have dryed up grease in a few weeks or so and will get noises coming from you joints. not to mention your front and rear diff fluids |

Yea I'll be changing the fluids on Saturday. I'll take a look at my cv boots today, do I just remove them, clean them out and put more grease in them? It ended up dying in the water, with 1,4, and 6 cylinder misfire, later it did crank back up. I'm 90% sure the rear diff has water in it, sense I'm pretty sure thats where the speedo sensor is and my speedo doesn't work anymore. Neither does my odo. And I photoshopped the shirt to spare your eyes from my not so fit upper body. |

Looks like what I did with my Jeep a few weeks ago...
How are you gonna dry out the carpets? I had to actually remove them, and give them 4 days in a small room with a dehumidifier... |

I sucked up the standing water with a wet-vac. I lifted the carpet up a little and sucked what i could of the water under it. I really can't do anything else today. Is the carpet all one piece? Will I have to remove both driver side and passenger side seats? |

Yea thats my girlfriend's sister. She was pretty happy after that, because I had to work the come-a-long, and she got to push the pedals. It was her first time offroading, and first time driving a Jeep. My girlfriend was busy taking pictures and laughing me. |

1. I need tow points front and back 2. Don't go offroading alone, or you'll sit for 3 hrs stuck in the mud, even though the guys that came to get me out, I had asked earlier that day to come with me anyway and they said they would rather watch tv. 3. My Jeep is not a monster truck, It can't make it through everything |

Do you not like my cool photoshopped shirt? I got it on sale! But I had a white shirt on and I didn't want it to get muddy and it was going to restrict my movement under the mud. |

There is 1 piece of carpet that starts from under the back seats. You will have to take the driver and passenger seats out, and unscrew the back seats to lift it up. I did it all by myself in a few hours, and I wouldn't recommend it. Its a complete pain in the booty. When I put the carpet back in (just as hard) I had a friend help me and it went in in half the time. Its not a big problem as long as you have some help, but you can still do it by yourself. I wish I took pictures when I did mine, but if you want some help let me know. |

I suggest bungee cords to help keep the seats folded up while removing It only took me 2 hrs to take out the carpet.... Puting the carpet back in took about 5 min... and then another 2 hours to put everything back in... I had no help... Set your carpet out in the sun all day for 2-3 days, use a steam cleaner and let it dry for another few days... It's not hard at all.... I also cleaned the tub with some pine-sol.... (just a thought) chris |
