Painting Skids/Tow Hooks/Etc.

Any tips or tricks before I set out to paint these darned things? I don't want to end up with drips or anything like that.

don't do them in yellow....I have seen enough of that already (mine included) :lol:

Just spray them,no worries about how the paint really looks since if you actually use them the paint will get scraped off anyway.

You really shouldn't paint towhooks or shackles since the paint makes it hard to spot stress fractures and could be possibly fatal.

No worries... was thinking of a deep purple. Yellow stands out a bit too much on a black jeep for my taste

Follow the directions on the can for several light even coats and waiting the proper amount for second coats. I let mine dry in the hot summer air, out of the direct sunlight for several weeks to fully cure and now the paint is really on there. A tool shed or upper rafters in a garage is good. - "rustoleum".
