I've got a clicking noise, only when I'm in 4wd. I have Selec-Trac, and it doesn't matter whether I'm in Part-time or full-time. I contacted Lochmandy Motors, in Elkhart, In, since I only have 64k, and the drivetrain is still under warranty. While describing the problem, the service writer asked me, "Are you on dry pavement, or gravel when this happens". When I informed him, it doesn't matter, I have Selec-trac, and only use FULLtime 4 on dry pavement NOT part-time, he informed me that "You aren't supposed to use full-time four wheel drive on dry pavement"

That's what Selec-trac is FOR!!!!!!!!

I informed him, I only use FULL-TIME 4, when I'm dry pavement, NOT part-time, I was informed that it doesn't matter!!
(My owner's manual distinctly states that full-time 4 can be used on either dry pavement, OR offroad surfaces. Part-time is strictly for surfaces with slip, or give, such as sand, gravel, etc.

So.................anyone in the South Bend, In area know of a dealership that is half-way competent, AND lift friendly?
BTW, it doesn't matter whether I turn left OR right, and does not SOUND like a clicking CV,that's why I need to take it to a dealer. :(
