That kit will just sag horribly overtime. Just spring for the Frankenlift or get some OME springs and Ranchos....that what I did.

4 OME springs and Ranchos will be just about the same price and WAY better IMO in the long run.
Rustys will work but if you are doing it it only costs a nickel more to go first class
Plus the rear shocks Rustys provide are junk anyways rattle rattle rattle

mine have over 75000 miles on them and still ride great and NO sag

Hey! Did anyone mention OME heavy duty coils and Rancho shocks :?:
A few dollars more than Rusty's, but far better quailty componets.

I have the rusty's lift with rancho shocks, and if I were to do it again I'd have saved up for the frankie premium. At this point, I'm not replacing anything on the jeep unless something breaks OR when it's time to do my SFA (in 10 years)

Had rusty's springs and ome shocks/struts. Swapped over to ome hd springs it's sitting about .5-1" higher than my rusty's set up in the front and .5" higher in the rear. I recommend ome hd's.

I have Rusty's lift. At about 50000 miles on it. I had to change struts and went with Ranchos. Better ride. I swapped out the shocks with OME 132 longs. Ride much better. I can say I Developed a little sag. I took cheap root and did the clevis lift and evened out front to rear. Rides good. Budget lift its not bad. Spend a little more you'll do even better. As with anything you get what you pay for.

Good riding.

I put about 15,000 miles on my Rusty's kit. About 2500-3000 of those miles were pretty rough 'wheeling. Just swapped the front springs for OME HD's last weekend and I gained about 1.25" between the hubs and flairs. I plan on adding a lot of steel and a winch to the front so I'll probably lose at least half of what I gained but, the OME's are a far superior product and really only cost a few dollars more. I've heard of people putting together an entire OME lift (almost Frankenlift) for less than $500.

We have the Rusty's 2.5" lift for two seasons- The struts are OME (after you scrape off the Rusty's label) we swapped out the rear shocks from the Rusty's kit with OME 132 longs. In hindsight- - should have gone with OME springs front & rear and OME rear 132 longs for rear shocks

Rusty's lift is great!!!!!!

I never had a problem with mine. Sag, yes, everything sags over time. Go check the old lady. If ou add a lot of weight to the front area, yes, it will sag more. If you plan to add a steel front bumper, get the separate struts or go with the Frankie.

For the price, it is worth it.

I had taken mine through the hard trails in the Colorado Rockies. No issues.

Just take note: I am single so rarely anyone ever riding with me to add more weight to the front (+). I do have full armor to include the ALL J Super Skid (-). Rock Lizard Skink Sliders (-). Had the Rock Lizard rear bumper on for nearly a year (-).

Hey that's where mine is sagging too.

It's not that Rusty's is a bad lift. But for less than a 100 more, the OME it's a much better spring. A higher wound rate which means it won't sag as much or as quickly as the Rusy's will.

I m glad I saw this post. I bought Rusts us 2.5' coils used and Im about to get shocks and struts. But I thought OME only make a 1.5
inch lift will that matter if my spring are 2.5". Sorry but I'm still a bit new to lifts.

OME calls it s 1.5" lift but with just the coils I gained 2.5" and w/ an extra rear iso and a 3 ring clevis I made it into a 3"

SO I can use the OME struts and shocks with the Rusty's 2.5" coils?
