Has anyone found their drivers side floor board to be wet with no rain or deep water crossings? I think I may have a leak in my A/C possibly because my drivers side floor board is continually soaked when I run the A/C.

Any ideas?

reach under the passenger side, there's a box there that's connected to the a/c, see if it's sweating any. I've got a buddy that owns a repair shop here and I talked to him about it and he said if you suck up a lot of debris that the a/c can't breath very well and will start to sweat. If it's getting everything soaked I'd look at cleaning out the trap. (I have no idea where it is) I haven't worried about mine yet because it just gets damp and doesn't drip.

Plugged A/C drain fills up the HVAC box with water over time. That water spills over on to the passenger floor.

Stick a flexible stick, or hanger into the rubber hose poking out of the firewall on the passenger side and see if you can't free up what ever is plugging your drain.

What sleeve said. Dust, pollen, leaves, etc gets in the evap box an clogs the drain.

I put a filter on the intake to help stop that.

we had the same problem once with my wifes car. I thought "Great something i can't fix. " But i took a look around anyway. Found a socket extention in the a/c drain tube. They must have used it as a plug at the oil change place last time it was in. Free socket extention. :)

That's fantastic! I've never heard of that before.

I have the heavy duty rubber mats in my KJ. The drivers side floor got wet enough to make me think there was a serious problem. A friend told me to take out the mat and leave it out for a few days, problem gone. Massive condensation was the reason the carpet was soaked in my case.

Was it the OEM Jeep slush mats?

Yes they are. Great mats and they hold lots of water. I found that out the hard way when I took them out one afternoon and did not check the water level first.
