Question is can I install a winch on the bar? Where would I? What is your expert advice? :-)

Your grill gaurd is in no way strong enough to support a winch during operation. You need a ARB bumber or the Detuers BackBone system.Another option is a front hitch with the winch in a cradle, the weakest and unsafest way.Either way the grill guard needs to go or severly modified to accept a winch capible bumber(guard needs to be gone) or or BackBone system(guard can stay but needs major mods to still be there).

I'd get F/R tow points and armor first before thinking about a winch, plus those tube steps won't stand up where you'd be if you need a winch.

How good are your fab skills? There doesn't seem to be a surface big enough/flat enough to mount one as-is. But if you could modify it...

The problem with mounting it low is it kills your approach angle. The problem with mounting it high is it blocks your radiator more and puts more stress on your mounts due to the leverage.

( I guess I type slower........)

you can add hooks if you loose the bar... the mopar hooks and your grill guard use the same mounting area...

There was someone who added hooks and his guard. If you do a few searches you should be able to find the post.
