| Post subject: | OEM Skid Plates - CRD Engine Skid |
Hey Folks. I finally need to take care of the vulnerable oil filter on my Fiance's CRD before some fall camping trips and ol'mann winter roles in. It's scary how exposed that thing is. Anyway where is the cheapest place purchase this skid on-line? She's all ready got the one under the front axle. We need to get the one that runs under the oil pan and possibly the transfer case skid also. Thanks in advance. Randy |

The stock CRD engine skid is not the same thickness as the Mopar engine skid. The stock CRD engine skid is thinner. I haven't replaced mine yet, but a few more dings and I probably will. Don't do anything major around that area until you replace that skid too. I bought all my other Mopar skids from jparts.com. Great prices and quick service. There is a long thread regarding jparts.com that you can find by clicking here and following this link. There is another thread detailing a whole bunch of places to find KJ parts. Click here and follow this link for that thread. Good luck on your search. |

If you're referring to jparts, they're awesome. I ordered all four of my skids from them and had them the same week without paying for faster shipping! |

Does this Jparts place return e-mails or part availability inquiries? I utilized the special part request function on there website as I need to order a new passenger side tail lamp also and would like to get it in one order with the skid plates and I have yet to hear back from them and it has been several weeks. |
