Post subject:  questions on lifting the jeep

new here, i own a 2002 jeep liberty, and i have been searching for a while on a good lift, i think im going for the frankenlift, but i see there 4 different versions you can buy, is there a difference in actual ride hight between them or not, i want to get the premium but 1000 dollars is kind of alot, but the other one for around 830 looks better price wise. is there much of a difference or not? also do i need to buy anything else if i get the lift or can i keep everything else stock without any problems.

have you looked into the OME HD lift? thats all the frankenlift is plus some spacers. you can buy an OME HD lift for $650 shipped and do some spacers and be just as ahigh as a frankenlift

OME HD coils front and rear from www.dpgoffroad.com you need to call him, his name is Dirk and they are $72 each
Rancho RSX17004 rear shocks from summit racing $60 each
Rancho RSX 17505 front struts from summit $100
front bumperstops from terrflex $20 each
rear bumper stops you can use a homemade version by using hockey pucks
a clevis lift using 2" conduit nuts $6
and an extra rear upper iso on each side from the dealer $16

or you can bolt in a frankenlift and be done :) i have the cheaper one and have no complaints at all.. loved every min. since installed. just take out the old and put in the new.. no assembly required

X 2, except I went with the Frankenlift Premium II (a solid 3 inches of lift and you don't have to worry about sagging and bagging). You can also add a upper rear isolator for some extra lift.

the only advantage i see to a frankenlift is it's pre assembled. ome hd's, clevis, and rusty's strut plate lifted mine about 3" if not more.

I'm planning on adding the poly spacer to my OME medium springs. If you get the OME lift get the heavy duty springs, because if you add a bumper later you don't have to worrying about it sagging.
