I am confused, I received my Skyjacker struts in the mail today but it is missing the spring perch?? I thought it comes with it and not just a strut? Do I also have to purchase the bottom mount? |

you will reuse the one from the stock setup, along with the rubber spring isolators and upper strut plate |

Do I also have to purchase the bottom mount? The SkyJacker struts do not come with the lower spring perch,it is made out of aluminum and the strut screws into it,also the SkyJacker struts are "upside down" compared to OEM,Rancho.s,and OME struts. The OEM upper strut plate/isolator is re-used(or daystar can be used),you do not use the lower isolator though.
Marlin from JBA should be able to get you the lower spring perches since you can not use to OEM ones. The pic below shows the lower strut plat, between the strut and the coil.
Assembled pic of the strut assembly.

Didn't know that. Could I use to OEM lower plate with the Skyjacker struts and OME coils? Just thinking really. I wonder what the cost of the Skyjacker lower plate is? Thanks, BTW |

I would end up spending more anyway. I already spent 220.00 on struts from jeepinAl, which unfortunately I have to send back to him now. Atleast allj will wind up with some business from me. |
