Hi all! I installed the franken lift about 5000 miles ago. When I first installed the lift, the truck was nice and high and level front-to-back. After about 1000 miles and an offroad trip to break in the springs, the front springs had sagge considerably. Still looked ok though. Then, after another 2000 miles or so, the liberty has developed the typical nose dive as it did stock (just not as extreme). I would guess the springs in front settled at least 2 inches from install. Is this typical for only 4000 miles?
(Note, I also installed the rubicon rims/tires at time of lift)
Also at time of lift, I had trimmed out the bump at the fire wall and I didn't have any rubbing after that. After only a few thousand miles, I have had considerable rubbing both at the trimmed area as well as in the front (at the bumper) when the wheels turn. It sounds like while I do have some lift, it's not nearly as much as I had after I did the install...
the lift says "The Standard Frankenlift Kit uses Pre-Assembled Rancho 17505 Front Struts, OME927 H/D Front and Rear OME948 H/D Coil Springs, Rear Rancho 17004 Shocks, "
So, it seems I have the HD front springs. I called All J and they asked me to take measurements (this was at 2000 miles after install). I figured I would wait another 3000 miles and see how it was then. It has dropped more in that time so now I'm going to make my case.
Unless this is what everyone sees as normal?
Thanks!
Jonathan
