| Post subject: | Jeep Liberty rear transmission problem |
Hi everyone, i´m a 2006 jeep liberty sport manual trans. 4x4 owner , i´m noticed from the begining that was some "adjust sound" in the rear suspension when gear up, at the 3,107 Mill. service, the technician found that a ballstud in the rear suspension was brroke; at this time the car have 31,068 Mils. and they had change this piece 3 times!!!. Generally i use the car just for the city transportation (don´t make offroad) Did somebody knows waht cause this??. http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8904/foto3ag6.jpg http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/1599/foto1an1.jpg http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/7897/foto2lz7.jpg |

I've had that balljoint go out on me, but have never seen the actual bracket have problems on a stock setup. is it the bracket or balljoint that keeps breaking on you? stock suspension? I'm sure some of the smarter guys will chime in on this.... |

That is strange. I have never heard of that happening before. My ball joint went out (rubber boot) but not the bracket. Terry |
