Guess they forgot that the Franky also uses the Daystar topplates so who's crushing the OME's??? And has anyone ever seen their strut spacers? Anything like the ones Rusty has? |

Wow. Trying hard to downplay the competition (and the advice of nearly everyone on the forums)... They must have a lot of product on the shelves that isn't going anywhere. |

Well technically they are right, from what I have heard OME will no longer warranty that. But that doesn't mean it does not work. Apparently OME springs will not be warranted if you use them on different struts such as rancho. They also recommend that you not use the HD springs without a heavy front weight. But the franky is a proven lift and they are obviously grasping at anything they can to get some business. |

Let that be the truth... And they've done it the cheapest way possible....calling out the competition with false claims. I've had no problems with my Franky in the total of around 25K its been on. Ride is just the same as it was when I put it on. The funny thing is...they're claiming this is mis-engineered product when putting a lift on a vehicle with a independent front suspension and absolutely no platform whatsoever (when it comes for room to lift) to start with....the truth be known...even getting one to work and be safe is a challenge alone...not taking into account the materials and components used. |

The strut spacers used on the Rockfather lift kit are the small 3/8" spacers that are used on the RRO 2.125" Combo kit, unlike the larger spacers used on the 2.5" Budget lift that most everyone is aware of. Beleive it or not, I ran the RRO 2.125 Combo kit for 4 yrs. with various spring and shock combinations with no problems at all, other than sagging front springs from the weight of my ARB and winch. That was finally rectified this past spring, by going to OME CRD 790's on the front and 928's in the rear. All the wheeling pics on the first 5 pages of my Cardomain link were done on the inexpensive RRO 2.125" Combo lift kit..... P.S. the first Skyjacker spring lift kit came out about a month after I purchased it back in 03. |

Yeah Tom, back in 03 there were not many lift kits to choose from, most were spacer lifts until the "Skyjacker" lift springs made their appearance. |

That's actually a pretty clever marketing ploy. I'm sure it's designed to be targeted at those not familiar with the forums. I'm not sure about the smaller forums, JeepsUnlimited and JeepForum, but LOST and JeepKJ members seem to love their Frankenlifts. There is no better marketing than testimonials from actual individuals that use, and are satisfied with a product. |

It looks like RRO has CRD springs custom designed by OME. One with or without an aftermarket bumper. |

Nah, OME comes in three flavours for the CRD. Weak, medium and rock hard Or 926 / 927 and 790.... I think it may be good if I placed this in a sticky somewhere...

Warning: Official Warranty Notice!!! It's important to know that both Quinn and Glenn's stuff isn't covered by ARB/OME under warranty. BOTH the Frankenlift and the RRO kits use the OME springs/struts in a configuration that we didn't intend them to be used => we won't cover it if you break it. Both All J and RRO know this and carry the warranty themselves. This in no way implies that either kit is faulty or bad, merely that once you change something of ours to fit your needs i.e more than 1.5" of lift... then we won't warranty it anymore because it's out of the spec we designed it for. There you go. |
