As you guys may know a while ago I was toying around with the idea of adding a clevis lift in the front and an extra iso pad in back, however after testing the KJ out on the beach all summer (which was the main intention of getting the OME lift/rusty's strut spacer plate) I have decided to keep the lift as-is at 3-inches for now. It rides great and adding any more lift may compromise this i think (the 'ol don't fix what aint broken attitude!) adding extra stress to everything including the brake lines CV angles etc. (And can you believe the AT2s STILL grind sometimes at full lock? Hah..must be those spidertrax spacers!) So anyway this is not a "question" or "suggestion" post...just thought I'd share with u all how thrilled I am with the combination ome md/rusty's plate lift I already have and thanks again to all the guys/gals on here that gave me a wealth of knowledge on the KJ and it's lift options

so tell me again why you went medium with new strut plates and not just a Franky? BTW, Does anybody know if they will or can they build you a Franky with mediums instead of HD's?

well personally...I went w/the MDs because I don't plan on ever adding a winch or arb etc but if I had the op to go back...i just might have went with HDs because i have been thinking about adding a cooler/pole rack which during fall striper season (that's striper not stripper lol) yeah..when it's packed with ice (and hopefully fish!) it weighs a lot...

ok,ok,ok... I want HD...I get it....really I do... 8)

I was only asking about a Franky with MD's as I will not be doing a bumper up front but like the idea of a preassembled unit so I could try the swap myself. Figured the MD's would sag enough to offset the additional height added by the plates and save the CV's any additional stress. I will probably just go coils, shocks and struts though. I found and talked to a shop nearby that will do the install work. Highly recommended by an area Jeep club.
