So after replacing my lift I am not getting the rattling noise whenever I hit some small bumps. I have checked the sway bar and made sure everything was on tight. I can't quite firgure it out, what do you think it might be?? Thanks.

I have the same problem with my right rear rancho shock... the bolt hole seems to be bigger than the bolt

I had one of the lifts I done have a noise in the left front, could not find it, took it all back apart checked everything, put it back together and no more noise????? :? She has put about ten thousand on it now no problems, so you may just need to go back through, loosen / retighten / recheck . The top bolts if not torqued right to spec will make a heck of a noise as well, they will appear tight but check that as well, PITA to pull the battery to do it, but if you are like me I hate any noise

I have the same problem... I used Rusty's shocks... which from what I am reading is the problem. I've tried extra washers around the bolt but it is not helping... Looks like the hole that is in the shock is to big for the stock bolts even with the spacer installed.

I didn't change the rear, only the front. the noise is on the drivers side.

Ive had that happen before too, I posted about it on here.

Sounded like a CV joint was going bad and it was LOUD when turning left. Took the rotor and such off so I could check everything out and couldnt find a problem. Put it all back together and its been fine since(+10k miles). :)

ok, I will go through it again. It is nice and quiet on the road but when I ride over bumps that make the jeep bounce around a little the noise sounds like something is bobbling around. Driving me crazy.

I have had that problem for years as well . I have the Crusty's 2.5". The best I could guess is that the strut spacer bolts were too long & hitting the strut mounting bolts up above spacer. Where you bolt spacer to body area.Under the battery tray. I havent heard anyone complain about it until now, I was just going to swap to ome when I could afford it. I havent noticed any performance issues on trails, only when I hit speed bumps at 25 it makes a clackity clack noise.

well, it is the front left strut assembly. I took it apart and put it back together and its still making noise when I compress it. I believe it is the strut itself, the other side is nice and quiet. I just bought it, what should I do?

if its the strut itself take it back or contact where you you got it from, I know you did check but...is it installed correctly? Just checking every angle

Has anyone spoken to Marlin at JBA? I have sent him a few emails and a phone call about my strut but he hasn't replied. Usually he is pretty good with that?
