Hey guys, I've recently installed front and rear Tru-trac's along with 4:10 ratio's. The LSD's work alot better then they did, however I was wondering how I could go abouts locking the wheels up when needed if you get what I mean? I'm yet to try it but I've heard that gentle pressing of the breaks would lock up the DTT... is this true?

Thanks
Neil

Yes. Gentle, controlled use of the brake can help as can use of the park brake (just a couple clicks at times) Practice makes perfect. Over time you will get the hang of fooling the diffs to work together better.

I was trying to think the best way to answer but JJs ..gentle ...controlled is the best answer, like him I think it comes with feeling it when you are off road, when you start to feel like it may start spinning just slight pressure will lock them up and away you go, the more you do it the more natural and easy it will be in getting it right without even thinking about it, kind of like...yea thats it riding a bike  never think about it you just do it  you

Practise makes perfect..looks like I best hit the trails more often. The combo of the ARB air-locker & DTT would be nice!

Plus the slight braking action will slow you down of obsticals that you would normally create alot of wheel spin(front wheels) and have a high probability of breaking the front diff.Slower and more control/traction means less likely to break parts.

I loved the DTT up front, but the rear ARB was icing on the cake.
