And it is cold here in SC. The high's this week are our normal lows. How low can it go??

Anyway, when it gets cold around here, my jeep creaks. If it was my 64 Impala, I would squirt brake fluid on the joints. BUT, I do not think this should be happening to my '06 Rnengade. Have y'all a clue? It is in the front and rear. I guess I could just go faster over the speed bumps but the schools don't like that.

So far it is sounding worse than last year.

Try searching the tech section for grease-able sway bar mounts.

As for how cold it can get... I grew up in Muddy Gap, Wyoming... and you really don't want to know.

Our libby gets a crackling noise in the windshield when the temp drops down...drives me nuts, wife turns the radio up louder. Sounds like putting plastic beds in a glass jar...got to be a bolt lose or something up there or the windshield is rubbing on something, the cold shrinks everything just enough to get the noise. Yuo maybe having same problem as the rubber components of suspension shrink with cold allowing things to rub. The older it gets the more wear they have thus getting louder when it does squeak.
I know how you feel, little noises like that drives me nuts.

Could be the sway bar bushings. Give `em a quick squirt.
