so now i have this problem. when i was driving the other day to go get my oil changed, i noticed that wheni come to a stop, my oil light comes on. its only comes on when the engine is below 1k rpms. but goes away when i accelerate. so i thought i may have been low on oil, changed it, and even added an extra 1/4 qt. but that didnt fix it, and it keeps doing this.

i have no oil leaks ANYWHERE. and the filter is on nice and tight, tha drain pulg is too. and the oil level is right where it needs to be.

so what the heck is my problem? could it be the sending unit or the pump? please and suggestions and knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

I also had the same prob and my pressure sensor was bad. The wifeys kj is doing it once in a while now so I figure I will be changing that one soon.

I posted about a similar problem, but mine came on just when the engine sat overnight at the first start up of the day. I replaced the oil sensor and the problem went away. I got my sensor at Autozone for around $20.00. It's located right above the oil filter
