Post subject:  Quick question about the OME and daystar...stuff

I know a lot of these q's have been talked about before, but I'm at my parents house right now, and 28.8K isn't doing anything with the search function for me.

Alright, I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket. Been looking at the OME lift forever and am thinking about piecing it together slowly...(got 250 to blow right now...would that get me the complete front end?)

And one quick question about the Daystar lift. If I do a clevis and isolater pad with this lift, will I be up a little closer to three inches?

All I really do is wheel old access roads, big mud pits, and mall crawl :P  so I'm not going to be doing a lot of major wheeling as I gotta keep this as a DD for college.

Thanks fella's

daystar lift 155 or so
new front shocks(struts)180-200
front bumpstops 40
new rear shocks 110/120
all cost are close estimates depending on where you buy
so thats about that route
OR instead of the 155 for the kit add some to it
4 OME springs 70/75 each so 300 say for springs add the above shocks/bumpstops and for only 150 more you have a great ride, will last longer since your springs are about crap by now anyways (if you have over 25,000 on them)

so long story short do it right spend an extra 150 and be done with it

by the way do you remember Carls blue Mustang ?

Thanks for the reply tomm...fig'd you'd be quick to answer. From what I've gathered it seems like a lot of people use the stock front shocks, and upgrade the rear.

Still wondering...clevis, and iso possible with the daystar?

Yup, I remember it, his younger son Matt has it now. That thing is beeeaaauuutiful.
