mount it up high enough like some do and it will work, sort of looks like its not suppose to be there it is so high but it works ..I guess

does anyone know how a roof rack that measures 45"x 60" will fit on a 05 renegade? i have a sunroof and i wasn't sure if it will cover it or if it will be safe to use the vent on it. i would go out and measure myself but i'm working a midnight at the moment. |

I don't believe so. My Rack is 48 by 48 and it ends right were the back of the sunroof would lie. If I had one, I would be able to use the vent, but not retract it. With a 60" long one it will go over the sunroof I believe. And I don't think the bars will leave enough room for the sunroof to be opened up in the vent position. |

it might, depends how it mounts, i have mine on YAKIMA lowrider mounts, and the coleman basket is on top of that, it appears that if i had a sunroof, it would clear it, theres plenty of room under the basket. see how it mounts and it might fit, you never know, the longer basket might come in handy sometimes. |

lol i know, im just saying, it depends on how it mounts, everybody on here has a different setup  i wouldnt have a basket at all if mine would have had the mopar plastic one from the beginning, but mine didnt have one. but now that i have my yakima mounts, i use my yakima crossbars all the time for other stuff (like kayak), so i just put my basket on top of those. and if i need the crossbars for other stuff like kayak mounts, i just remove the basket
