Hey guys, I was just curious if this is something I can fix, and if so what is needed? If the pic is hard to make out, it is the rear defrost cable that is attached to the rear window. Thanks in advance for any info! :)

should be able to resolder it on, have done it on other vehicles before, have to make sure the rear glass is nice and warm , not 22 degrees
Or I think a buddy of mine used some kind of liquid solder to fix his that he got at Autozone or somewhere.

Yeah I believe I have seen a tube of a rear window defroster electrically conductive solder in Autozone or Napa before.

Same thing happen to mine, I've been too lazy to fix it. I’ve fixed two before and it’s an easy fix all you need to do like stated above let the window warm up then just do a quick solder a third hand will certainly help. A quick solder meaning don’t overhead the glass or it could shatter.

That little metal slip should slide right out of that connector. That will make it easier to work with.

And like everyone else said, its just soldered on. Listen to tommudd and let that window warm up first though! Dont get it too hot even if it is warm though, it is glass.

I wouldn't worry about the glass as much as the tinting on said glass. The soldering iron you're likely to use would be .. what .. 60 watts top? If you're going to use blowtorch on it then yeah I'd worry.

there are 'official' kits if you're interested...

You'd want this one... I know I've seen these at autozone...
