Yes Id still get OME HD

Rancho RSX17004 $48-rear shocks
http://www.amazon.com/Rancho-RSX17004-R ... 617&sr=8-1

Rancho SX17505 $78-front shocks
http://www.amazon.com/Rancho-RSX17505-R ... 684&sr=8-1

OME Coils $72 each (last I knew and you need to call him to order them)
http://www.dpgoff-road.com/site/contact.htm

TeraFlex Extended Bumpstops $22 each (p/n 1903200)
http://www.trailquest.com/teraflex/KJ/s ... l#bumpstop

for the rear bumpstops you can use stacked hockey pucks and bolt them down.

For the front clevis you just need to run to the local hardware store and buy some 2” conduit nuts.

The rear isolator you can just buy from your dealer for about $15 each and the p/n is 52088707AA

I would ask you to please give our sponsoring vendor, All J Products, a call and at least let them get you a quote on everything at once from them.
Times are tight these days and the little guys need all the help they can get. Ordering the cheapest you can find and spreading the wealth might be worth saving a few bucks but I am sure that the biggest supporter of the Liberty, All J, would appreciated the business. After all, they have been giving to the Liberty, LOST and Jeep community for all these years, don't they deserve a chance to hook you up?

I'll also add, Jeepin' By Al and Rock Lizard to the mix on this.
Why buy from someone that just wants your dollar and that gives nothing back to our community here? Support those that support Us.

I would go with OME shocks as well, my Ranchos didn't last 2 weeks in Baja. I replaced them with OME when I got back.

Don't get the HD springs if you are not going to add 170 lbs. to the front. It will make the ride worse and may not flex as easily. If you plan to add weight later, it may be worth putting up with.

Lots of folks run the Heavy Dutys and no problem thats what The Frankenlift uses as well ride is great , it will flex just as well trust me.

Also over 73,000 on my Ranchos and not one problem and they have been tested plus life time warranty and the OMEs are sort of weak in the rear compared to Ranchos

I agree, running HD springs won't be a problem but HD springs are for a bumper and winch. Thats why OME goes thru the trouble of designing different rate springs for different needs. I'm sure your aware of that.

KJ04, I just laughed and let it pass on by, not worth it any more , when they have had a few different ones in their garage and seen what each has done with HDs and then how well a gasser with OME/CRD springs with bumper and winch rides  then we'll discuss it a little farther

Yeah, if that were the real world case, most everyone would be using light duty OME coils.

To set things straight before you go any farther

anyone even a complete idiot can and does have an opinion
but I only use experience as a way to judge how well something works or does not work, :P no opinion to it, tried and true experince with OME HDs and how they perform on and off the road.
Have done 8 KJ lifts / 5 with OME HDs/ 1- Frankenlift/ 2 Rustys, so that gives me some knowledge of what works and what does not

I APLOGIZE TO THE ORIGINAL POSTER THAT THIS HAS WENT OFF TOPIC, NOW BACK TO THE ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING

NO MORE COMMERCIALS

OME makes three different springs, a light, medium and heavy load. If you were to install each of the springs on your KJ and drive it on the roads where you live, you would notice the small bumps, cracks and joints in the road more with the hd spring. The medium spring would soak up the small bumps better. The suspension will react faster and travel farther allowing the vehicle to be more stable. This is very simplified explanation. The suspension needs to be tuned to the terrain.
Since it is your DD and you only go in the mud once a month and you don't have a bumper and winch, decide how firm you want the ride and how much feedback from the road surface you want. Either spring is an improvement over stock.

Last weekend I (along with others) installed the OME HD's front and rear and I love the ride. Sure it's bumpier than a Tracker or Cadillac, but if I wanted a smoother ride I'd buy a Tracker or Cadilac!
