I got 4 Hella FF 300 driving lights for the front of the Gecko , they are not rectangular more oval, didn't well couldn't have any thing higher than the rack so found these, seem to be pretty bright or will be when I get them all hooked up

I am looking for experiance or advice due to a lack of clearence in the garage door opening i can't put the normal 4 round lights up on the roof rack but I can get a rectangular light to mount up there maybe a 5x7 give or take ... been thinking of differant brands out there and any advice or experiance would be great looking at maybe hella 550 or procomp 100 there are some others out there but yall get the idea I just want to throw some light out there looking for a driving / euro / pencil beam light as opposed to the fog light pattern now i am trying to balance budget with performance not looking at spending 2000 dollars on 4 HID pro off road baja 1000 lights just a set of decent lights that will extend the performance of my high beams when offroading as always thank you all for your help and advise |

A few people have put the Hella FF75 lights between the roof rack and the roof. Gris had a particularly nice install; his picture links in the forum have gone wonky but you can see them in his personal gallery. Looks like they are running around $100 or so, not sure how much you want to spend but it might be an option. |

thanks guys I dont know a set amount around 100 a set was also looking at a kc 57 series long range light Also if anybody has the lights up top and a sunroof does it cause a problem ??? thanks again for all the input thus far |

Anybody else got any ideas on the lights on the roof and the effect of having a sunroof?? anybody got lights on roof rack behind the sunroof is there a problem offroading with the rof lights on and the sunroof open is there a big glare?inside the jeep on the hood etc. I just would hate to buy the lights get everything set up then find out that i blind myself if i turn then on ... anybody with picture would be nice but opions will also work thank you everybody |
