What is the differance between CRD front coils and the 3.7 gasser coils? Longer, coil spring dia/ stiffer? Looking at installing them with my 2.5 Daystar lift. Pros vs Cons.. any help will do! Thanks |

spring rating is higher, so they will be stiffer, thats the only difference that I know of. |

Spring rate is 410 vs 310. so in theory for every 310 lbs placed on the spring the stockers lower 1", while the 410 spring will be lowered ~.75". So when you're talking a large amount of weight it makes a difference. I have a spare set back home if you'd be interested. |

Yup, what jsc said. Same length but heavier material (hence the higher load rate). They will sag less but they will make your ride stiffer too. FYI |

I wonder if there is a difference in the OME HD springs and the OEM CRD springs, my front is lower than my rear. I'm sure my 110# bumper isn't helping but its driving me nuts how its not level any more. |

Yes, the OME CRD coils are more heavy duty than the gasser OME HD coils. If want more lift, then I would suggest adding a clevis to it. I think adding a clevis will bring you up another 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch. |

Here are some pics of the CRD coils on my gasser
Not much compression on the coils.
Might have run in to a snag on this though and hopping an alignment and a serious camber adjustment will fix this? This is looking at where the UBJ connects. You can see where it touches the spacer puck. Any thoughts?
And my reason for extended brake lines.....
It does move in there when i turn but not enough to my liking All thoughts are appreciated. I still have my old coils so i'm not stuck if there is a problem aligning it. Thanks again Jeepers!!! |

WTF????? That is not correct. Whoever installed your lift and/or brakelines was smoking crack. Do you have the sides switched?

yeah um im with tbj brake line should not be up in there cant you just take a grinder to the edge of the puck and dish it where the UBJ is or a dremel or somethin, or is that bad juju? |

Or maybe just put the brake line where it's supposed to be and install it properly... Do not have a CLUE HOW or WHY the brake line is THERE, and that is not a good place for it... |

This is a good learning tool. How many times has it been said on here that you can not mix all of these things together and come out with a great lift. If you look there is no where else for the brakeline to go. Too much stuff that all wants to be in the same place. I would try to cut the lower spacer down and notch the bump stop or something but it is not safe that way for sure. hope you haven't driven it yet very far. |
