Time for new brakes, I was thinking of upgrading to EBC pads and their slotted rotors. Does anyone have experience with EBC. Thanks

I just swapped out to the EBC's.Green 7's with slotted up front, and green 6's on stock rotors in back.
I've added a good bit of weight to the jeep and regularly haul gravel,so I wanted to upgrade the brakes.
Definitely happy with the performance, and these things far exceeded factory brakes in an "Oh Snit!"moment last week.
Some will bash them, but I'd never go back.

Go Green. 8)

I have the EBC 7000's as well. I installed them with new raybestos rotors from checkers. They sucked at first, but after about 500 miles and bedding them in they work better that stock. They perform better the hotter they get too.

I've also got the EBC brakes (7000) and rotors(3dg sport). They stop on a dime and dont squeal at all, they also have ZERO dust. Absolutely night and day difference from stock. Only down side of the rotors is they make some wind noise but that doesnt bother me at all. If you dont want the rotor wind noise dont gets the slotted/drilled 3dg rotors. I stayed away from Hawk due to all the negative feedback doing internet searches.

I haven't put them on the Liberty yet but that was all I used on my Focus hatchback. They were wayyyyy better than my stock pads/rotors. Also like has been stated already, the dust was very minute if any.

Perfect timing on the question Red as i'm having to get new pads/rotors and was wondering as well.

Still a question tho: for those w/the slotted rotors are there any prob's w/getting mud/debri's in there when offroading? i'd hate to get stuff in there that wears the pads irregular etc.

No problem with debris so far, just make sure that you put the rotors on the correct side.
They label the rotors R and L,instead of D and P.Your R could be my L,but your D would never be my P,unless you're overseas.
I had mine on backwards for a few weeks till I installed the lift and noticed the direction of the slots.
Perty sure the R goes on the passenger side.

This is passenger side with slots in wrong direction.

And passenger side with slots in the correct direction.

Hope this helps.
