i want some lights on top of my car. but i want mine mounted to my roof basket. i work security and i have to be in dark places that have valuable items. i dont want anyone to be able to sneak up on me. i want 2 lights mounted on each side of the roof basket and 2 on the rear. does anyone know how i can wire that? also i want to get adjustable brackets to mount them. does anyone know where i can get those? maybe these http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lights-Light ... pn=EXP9101 or these http://www.4wheelparts.com/Lights-Light ... pn=EXP9131 |

This sounds like a great idea. Guessing you would want to run three feeds for three switches. I like it. |

Something cool would be to put four lights on a motorized remote controlled spinner. Set on top of vehicle and spin so it hits 360 degrees not just four directions (which leaves dead zones). |

You do know that to run half the lights that that Excursion is using you will need to do a dual battery setup with at least 1 Optima Blue Top battery, even with the renny's 160amp alternator will not handle that many lights considering the average 55watt bulb takes 5-6 amps to power.Plus even with super cheap lights your looking at well over $1000 to do that setup correctly. For that money you can get almost 4 of those Go Lights. |

It's not a problem for me... I have the renny lightbar, and then 2 walmart lights, which light up all I need behind me, on my RL rear, and I have 2 hella ff75'son my black widow, and two hella 500's up front... I AM LEGEND!!!! And btw I have loved that movie ever since I saw that, and I will be prepared fro when something goes wrong!!! |

http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh6/ ... 0012-3.jpg would it be possible to get lights where the rectangles are Mount them with a circle clamp around the standard roof rails. Then just trim the renny roof rack to accommodate the circle clamps. Something similar to below but with the mounting point at a 90 degree angle.
