| Post subject: | Broken Seat |
So the other day my friend was laying back in the passenger seat of my KJ when he decided to put the seat back up again. When he put it back up the handle froze up and now i cannot move the seat back at all. It is a non-power seat in an 05 if that means anything, and it will still slide up and down the tracks. The back just wont move at all. As i mentioned earlier the handle does not move. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas or advice as to what i should do. Any help would be great. Thanks. |

Grab the top of the seat/head rest, and rock it back and forth while trying to pull the handle up, but don't force the handle or else it wil break off, or worse yet break the metal piece the handle is secured to. |

My got stuck like that not too long after I bought it by a "larger" buddy of mine who was seat dancing going down the road Like SnC stated don't force but hold up on the handle and move the head rest, I had to sort of bang on the seat a couple of times and then it broke loose over 100,000 miles later not another problem |
