As most of you know I finished my Franky lift yesterday and since then I find there is alot of creaking up front. Kinda sounds like springs creaking if you know what I mean. Is this normal when it's new? I'm assuming the noise will go away in the next few days as the springs seat themselves well..... Thanks again guys for helping us newbies out with the process!! Much appreciated |

Depends on how and where you drive how long it takes. When I did mine I was heading to Orlando (1200 mile trip ) in three days. Making all kinds of groans etc, wife sort of complained about wondering what I had messed up |

*phew* Thanks guys I've been driving up on curbs and stuff (when no one is looking hehe) Not much for wheeling in this area that I know of and all the snow banks are done. Maybe I can drive over a few hummers or something |

Another possibility is the sway bar mounts. Lube them up. The creaking is normal right after a lift. |

The front will settle some, but you'll probably still be high in the front. An extra set or rear isolators should fix that. It's difinitely time for some bigger tires too. |

My lift has yet to settle, been 5 years and 50,000miles(many on difficult offroad trails). The only thing that drooped it at all was the extra 1500lbs I added and that was only 1/4".Then again I don't have the Frankinlift or OME coils. All this "sagging" and "settling" of the OME stuff has made me lose major faith in OME,must be from when they switched to making there coils in china. |

Troy I think it is when they switched, newer ones don't seem the same I don't think . Even on mine the coils are way closer together than when they were installed Would be great to get a container full from Stu over in Oz |
