You have identified the lower spacer for the Franky II. This is what I added.

hmm.. where did you get that and how are your CV angles? When I called Quinn to ask about how I could raise my front up a bit, he totally told me not to do that... so does it lift you up a tad along with the clevis?

With the ARB and winch, my front end was suffering. So I decided to add 3 conduit nuts to bring me back to 22 inches of total lift in the front. I’m now pretty close to a JBA 4” lift. According to the experts (RL, tjkj2002, and the Reverend) the gasser KJ’s are safe between 22 and 23 inches of lift. The CRD could be a different story, so I would consult with one of the above names to answer that question.

Thats one problem with the CRD, due to the front diff being over to the drivers side a little more than a gasser's front diff is, you can't go up as much as we can. Thats why Quinn told you that you should not do that.
Sorry  but thats the way it is!

According to my wife, kskj did all the work. She even took documentation photos to prove it.   The drivers side was a pain, especially removing the clevis. The passenger side was a cakewalk. My original plan was to swap my gasser OME coils for the CRD OME HD coils; however, a few people on this forum suggested that I try adding a few conduit nuts first. I like the clevis lift idea because I’m gaining lift without having to preload my springs. And if I had swap to the CRD coils, I may have limited some of my front end flex. I think there is a 100lb spring rate difference between the OME gasser and OME CRD coils.

You mentioned that the drivers side was harder, for some reason on every Frankenlift I have installed or worked on the drivers side is always harder to work on ( get into place etc. ) ? Not sure why, but it is.
Maybe Troy has the answer to that

The difficult part was trying to get the clevis off so we could install the conduit nuts. It seems that the CV’s were more restrictive on the drivers side. You can see in the photos above where we used a 2x4 to compress the springs enough to remove the clevis. I was practically standing on a 5 foot 2x4 on the drivers side to get the springs compressed enough. The passenger side required very little pressure and out it came. Are the CV’s a different length (at a different angle) from the drivers side to the passenger side?

drivers side is always the worst for me too. your KJ looks good! i was going to do that to mine when winch/bumper was added (even got the conduit nuts still laying under the back seat)... but then i decided i wanted the OME CRD springs since i was after the same ride quality as before not only height. but this is def a cheaper solution. and as far as i can tell it hasnt limited my flex at all... and even though they are 100lb stiffer spring rate.. i added about 200lbs over my front end... so why would it be less flex than say a gasser OME HD spring without the extra 200lbs. i would think that since the gasser spring is always compressed more (because of the added weight) that it would have less up travel than a proper rated spring. (and am i really arguing about front IFS flex  )

True to that. When I first did my Frankenlift I started on the drivers side and it took me a while to get it all done.
Passangers side took 20 mins FLAT!
