A right angle drill would be very helpful when drilling into the spring perch. |

That’s exactly why I haven’t done mine. |

I DIDN'T do it with a right angle drill, just a regular cordless drill, but man it was a PITA, a couple broken bits later it was done. |

2 or 3 hockey pucks per side drill hole through the center of them drill 1/2 inch hole ( or whatever size bolt you are using ) through the lower spring perch start the coil spring up in then put the pucks in side the coil, finish installing the coil spring then reach through and tighten the bolt/nut |

take your scissor or bottle jack and wedge it in between the frame and 1 of the bolts holding the sway bar in place and flex your axle down until you can get a drill in there and then drill away. at least that is how I got mine drilled. |

just remember to take the scissor jack out before jacking up the axle to put the tire on or it will be toast! |

so how does the bolt stay secure after the hole has been drilled? Do I have to thread the hole? |

FYI: Their is not much room underneath the spring perch Yeah, that is what I was thinking but I will take a look. On the RL site he used self tapping bolt or a threader. just waiting on my springs then I can get this all done. can anyone guess what springs I went with...starts with an O and ends with and E |

I got the Daystar rear bumpstops from All J's when I got my lift kit. threaded bolt built right into the bumpstop, just needed a 3/8 hole and yes you can get you fingers up in there and thread on the nut and tighten with an open end wrench. |

Or.......you can just glue them down. Mine have been glued down for a year now with black silicone gasket maker and haven't gone anywhere. I am anything but easy on my Jeep, they won't fall off if you clean the mounting surface well. |
