if you are looking for one... front hitch... your best and pretty much only bet is to find a used one, because they are not being made anymore.
Or you can make one yourself.

I was fortunate enough to purchase a Landy Special... Made from a member, Landy, here on our site!

i think i know what Zzack's talkin bout

there's a front hitch posted somewhere around here, that interfaces behind the license plate

i could really be remembering it wrong but i think it used an upside down TJ winch mount .. no.. i think that was a winch on one of those aussie jeeps or something

although that could be a solution, a winch mount would give you adequate surface to fab a Class II hitch onto?

i like that but i dont need a winch, is there ANYTHING out there for 2 shackles where the tow points go, cause i don't want the hooks, I already have 4 shackles laying around here, so I can put 2 to use

I have one of the few front Reese Hitches thanks to Ted getting a RL bumper prototype.

It barely sticks out from behind the bumper...I actually clipped the front License plate to mold it around the Warn receiever shackle.

Still want to get a flip up license plate holder so I don't have to jerk around with the hitch or remove the front plate when I need to use it.

Unfortunatley they no longer make this hitch...very strong Class IV and rated 9000 lbs on the sticker. Of course like troy mentioned...would need something different for a winch.

I'd be betting that was a home-made creation that you have there my friend...and one I'd not be using for much more than holding a bike rack or a lightweight cargo rack.

i only use it for moving my little 5x8 trailer when i have to manuver it into the backyard with wood or something on it. my jeep has not actually been off road since we have owned it. it is our primary family vehicle and is our long trip vehicle so i don't take it to the beach or in the sand (that is all we have here)
