Well the abs and brake light come on and then go off once in a while and I plan on scanning it with a scanner I have at work but it seems like when I have the scanner the lights are off and when I don't have it they will come on. Any ideas of where I can look for the problem besides the normal wheel speed sensor? Any wiring that is known to have problems? Thanks.

on the 05, you have a sensor at each front wheel, and one on the differential. I had trouble with the sensor on the differential. its easy to get it.

Mine didn't go bad, it just needed to be removed and cleaned. Symptoms were the same, abs and brake light would come on and the odometer would stop working. Restarting cleared the issue until the next time.

My 05 had the same issue.

My problem was broken wires at the rear diff sensor.
The wires broke internally adjacent to the plug.

Easy check is to start car (and no abs, brake lights), then get underneath and wiggle the wire.
If ya trip the fault lights - you've got a busted wire!

Look at the inside of the front wheels. Sometimnes the wire touches the inside of the rim and shaves trough. It has happened twice to me.
