Post subject:  Standard Jack with 2.5" Lift?

I've just installed CRDSTU's 2.5" lift kit with JBA's UCA's.

My Question is, Does anyone with a lift still have, or use the standard jack supplied with the vehicle?
If you use a high-lift jack, Where do you store it?

Heck my OEM jack wouldn't lift my KJ high enough when at stock height  ,I just carry a 8ton bottle jack and have my HiLift on my RL bumper.

I noticed that, too.
My OEM jack was only just able to do the job when my Jeep was standard !!

I carry a 7K bottle jack and one axle stand on board

If you have the HiLift - offroad base - it's also great under the OEM jack

I broke the stock jack the first time I used it and I'm not even lifted yet. Bought a 48" Hi-Lift and right now it resides in the back cargo area.

48" farm jack, keep it mounted on the spare tire carrier.

"Bought a 48" Hi-Lift and right now it resides in the back cargo area"

I'd make sure it's well secured, I was considering mounting mine in the cargo area, but then someone wisely pointed out that god forbid I get in an accident/roll over you don't want that thing flying around the interior decapating passengers (well I suppose that depends on the passenger).

The 48-inch hi-lift will fit under the rear seats. Very tight fit but no worries about it coming loose either. My 2002 came with a smallish bottle jack. I guess they went to scissor jacks later? I still use the stock bottle jack on the rear wheels even with a lift. But on the front, suspension droop will keep the wheels on the ground without something (my shop manual or the hi-lift base) under the stock jack to boost the height.

Here's how I mounted mine if it's any help to you or gives you any ideas; 1.25" square metal tubing about 22", 4 L brackets, couple bolts & BF'n wing nuts.

I just happened across this jack, it seems to me to be one heck of a price for a good jack. 18 5/8" lift is the only concern, since my jeep isn't lifted yet i don't know if that'll be enough to suit most of you, but i always carry around a cinder block and a couple chunks of wood when i'm in the mountains, just stick it on top of the wood for extra height, anyways here it is.
